Frugal Shopping: Thrift Store Haul

We went to the thrift store today, on a whim. Actually, it was because a friend asked me to find him some clothes. So Chris and I went.
I actually did pretty well, and even found our friend a shirt.
I spent $12.18 at the thrift store and here's what I got:
-Sea Dog T shirt for Friend
-Long Sleeve Moisture Wicking Blue Rapala shirt for Chris
-Cinco de Mayo t-shirt for myself
-Nike medium hoodie for he child
-Two 'Friends' t-shirts for she child
-Burn After Reading DVD
-Julie and Julia DVD
-Three Kings DVD
-Whole Ten Yards DVD
I think I did really well for just over twelve dollars. I love this thrift store. There used to be two of them in town but they combined the two into a bigger building. It is way better organized. It had been a while since I had found myself anything at the thrift store so I was pretty happy to find the Cinco de Mayo shirt. I have always loved random business shirts. And this one was for a restaurant in town. So it made me happy.
See @moffittjc I am still buying movies. LOL, even though I have every streaming service known to man.

I was just talking to Chris about selling on eBay. I think I could do decent with it. I mean I bet if I listed that hoodie on eBay I would make at least $12 off it.

I think I am going to watch one of the movies tonight when we get ready for bed.
I need to get back in the habit of going to the thrift store every couple weeks. Especially with the kids growing so much.

Nice haul! I was at the thrift store as well tonight. I picked up a red and white striped shirt for $4ish. I'm being Waldo for Halloween. It's not like, an official shirt, and the stripes are thinner - but I'm on a budget so it's good enough. Now I just need to hit up eBay or something for the beanie.

This one isn't very big, but its one of my favorites I have ever been to. Plus I have a really good friend who works there. And its always good to see her. But I get what you are saying.

I love my local thrift store. It has spoiled me, I really hate buying new when used can be so much less. Good job.

@thislittlepennyearns Did you watch any of them yet, or have you been too busy for that? And did you watch the Gator game on Saturday against Missouri? It wasn’t a pretty win, but a win nonetheless. I was there. And got baked in the sun.
