Power's back and I'm back home.

We got the power back late Wednesday night. So now I've been home about a day. Between the travel and everything I had a lot to do, so I didn't post. But, we're back and I really need to pound those keys if I plan to reach my goals by month's end. So I'm back and ready.

@HaruLoid Hey I won't complain about free money. I need those pennies if I'll get paid by next month.

@Rimps85 Yep. It's not uncommon for lines to go down or power poles damaged or destroyed.

It's slow-going but I should. I am determined and will devote time to post now that everything's working.

While power outs are really annoying, as I have mentioned before, I get a bit worried when it goes on too long. Then you have to start thinking about things in the fridge and the freezer, and if things go wrong there, it can be EXTREMELY costly.

@kaylachan I'd have been horrified. We had a spell that lasted about three or four days once and it came close. But I used up what I could and bought ice and whatnot to salvage anything that MIGHT have been in trouble.

@porwest We tried that too. Not a lot of fun.

Did you have any damage to your home? I'm sorry your kitty is still sick. I suppose you lost all of your foodstuffs from refrigerator/freezer, a week without power. I am so sorry. A lot of damage to clean up.

Yes, they can, and I am glad for you to have a home to come back to. Things are not as important as people, but you know that.
