Today’s walk was longer: I walked over a mile and a half on a road between a big-chain super store (Meijer) and another shopping center. Along the way, there was more of the same beauty. A little cooler today, but I was still taking the jacket off by the time I turned around. Meanwhile, the trees are getting more colorful by the hour, it seems. Hopefully I’ll get back up to Carrollton tomorrow or Sunday to see how it’s changed in the past week. Meanwhile, the driving around the suburbs is breath-taking…so good that I have to stop and walk to admire the scenery!!! PHOTOS: A couple of trees along Hurstbourne Parkway.

It's getting lovely here too. That's the only nice thing about fall these days. It's been pretty chilly, the days are getting shorter and we're that much closer to winter. Is that negative enough?!!! Have a great weekend!!!

If I can’t go out I have my webcams to watch. Mount Washington in New Hampshire is unbelievable right now! (It won’t be much longer, though…pulled up the camera today and it said it’s 32 there.

Your photos are beautiful, such rich nice colours. We are enjoying some good colour now, we have had a week or so of cold nights and warm days which is what brings on the colour change.

There are benefits and drawbacks to living in various places. I hate snow and cold, but this time of year is amazing. When it gets cold I’ll see about Florida.
