I Ate Rice

Philippines
October 10, 2022 9:42pm CST
Once again, I found myself eating rice. I know for fact that it's not really good for my health, in the long run, but I still can't seem to let it go. DE even told me to imagine the rice wriggling, crawling by itself just to stop myself from consuming it. Can't help it, but I know that there is still a chance for me to let it go. Do you have a favorite food that you can never let go or not eat when it's served in front of you?

Gross, dude! How can you put that in your mouth? As far as I know, there isn't anything that I can't stop eating...

@hexeduser22 I had rice three days in a row when I had a stomach bug and for months I did not want to see rice anymore. I will never get addicted to rice.

Why is it bad for you?

Rice is mostly starch which is actually sugar. Too much sugar is bad not only for me but for everyone. When I eat rice, I'm not satisfied with just one cup

There are several foods I can’t eat due to health reasons and much as I would like to! I don’t eat them. I value my health too much.

@sathviksouvik potato curry is acceptable I'm just not sure what masoor dal is. I have to look it up

@hexeduser22 thanks cuteli I can explain. The rice without back up tastes dull. the lentil like masoor dal well cooked make rice tasty. similarly vegetables like potato curry or cauliflower curry adds taste with the rice

I love rice, it is so good. I think my vice is bread, I love bread, I have cut down on a lot of it, but whenever I am stressed bread is always there for me.
