Thanks to an eyewitness who saw a raccoon that was trapped in a storm drain in Yarmouth Maine who contacted the Yarmouth Police Department on Monday October 3 that a raccoon was trapped inside of a catch basin.
Thanks to the teamwork of the Yarmouth police as well as the Yarmouth Public Works Department who borrowed a dog catch pole from the Cumberland Police to get the raccoon who was in danger of drowning inside of the storm drain.
The raccoon was then released into his home after the rescue mission was a success.

I guess raccoons like cats and dogs allow their curious nature to get the best of them.

@RubyHawk I know of cats and dogs getting in trouble but not of raccoons.

@Deepizzaguy I think you’re right. They seem to get in a lot of trouble.

Raccoons sure are something. They love to get into places they shouldn't. They must have skeletons like cats.

@Deepizzaguy .......Yes, and they seem to be able to crawl in small places where other animals cannot.

I have noticed that cats are like raccoons that they allow their curious nature to get the best of them.
