I have been watching David Bromstad on My Lottery Dream Home for 9 seasons(since 2015) now and still enjoy the show. Each week this interior decorator and HGTV veteran travel to a different area of the US, showing his guests three homes in their part of the US. He laughs and teases and has fun all the way. He has such a fun personality and is so gracious and kind to each of his guests. Such a dear person. David Bromstad was first on HGTV back in 2006 when he won the Design Star. That show had participants doing some design-based challenges to see who wss the best designer overall. He is well-loved by viewers as well as the home renovation network itself. He came back as a judge on subsequent seasons of Design Star, did a self-thought-up Color Splash, Beach Flip, then did Brother Vs. Brother and now has his own show again. He was born in August 1973 in Cokato Minnesota and was the youngest of four children. David went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida and started out designing rooms to make a little extra money. He even worked at the Disney Mouse House. He has come a long way. In 2015 Bromstad split from his partner, Jeffrey Glasko and Glasko began a series of scandalous claims which Bromstad denied completely. Glasco tried twice to sue Bromstad with claims of breaching a cohabitation contract in civil court. Each time the judge ruled against him. Picture courtesy of Google.

@celticeagle Yes, that’s where I saw it. I’d never heard he was gay but you can tell.

@RubyHawk.......I have watched the show long enough and heard his remarks about men and such. He did a Christmas show last year and had some of his gay friends over as well as family. It was a fun show.

I used to watch a lot of these kinds of shows, mostly on HGTV, but they started to get a bit old and tired for me so I stopped. As for my dream lottery home, not sure I would ever actually buy another house. I like where I am at, and I think having wheels on the road would be the best of both worlds.

Same thing happened to me. But, then I found this and it is about the only thing I watch on that particular channel.

@celticeagle I tend to watch very little TV these days. Usually we wind up watching the old shows. Very little of the new stuff appeals to me.

It sure is. His personality really lends well to the show I think.
