I know, for us in the U.S. it's not even Halloween, yet. But, today my husband and I were in Home Depot, and they had Christmas trees out and a few displays. We couldn't help but look. I wouldn't expect any less from a home goods store. I thought the displays were kind of cool though.

Yeah, in singapore deepavali and halloween are still around the corner, yet xmas and chinese new year goodies plus deco are selling like hot cakes in stores now.

@RebeccasFarm No. It wasn't that. Some of the trees I could've gotten, some of them were to high. So I wouldn't have been able to get a good shot from my wheelchair.

My great-aunt and I went to Big Lots Thursday after I got my doctor's appointment (I had to get blood drawn and I got the flu shot). Big Lots has Christmas stuff up too. We looked at some. She decorates more than I do. Although my uncle had alot of Christmas stuff that we need to get rid of.

I haven't been to big lots in a while. That's a place I'd expect to still find Halloween stuff.

@JESSY3236 I would be surprised if they didn't. Halloween isn't even here yet.

I love it. I guess it's because it's the only thing left I can see at any distance.

@kaylachan I do recall you having mentioned that you are legally blind. Or was that someone else?

Stores seems to figure out the sooner they get holidays things on display the more likely the sale. I think most have some kind of Christmas decor and gifts up and out. I saw spice some rubs that my brother in law would find intriguing, but the problem is they don't have anywhere to store things at their house.

That seems to be another first-world problem. Something easily resolved. Sometimes not.

You can get them easily, getting them on the roof and staying there.... now that'd be the real challenge.

I know they start earlier and earlier. Don't get me wrong, there's stuff atother stores for Halloween, but I wouldn't expect it at Home Depot.

Most malls and supermarkets here have already put up giant Christmas trees. For us, Christmas sesson starts on the onset of BER months. That means last September, we already heard Christmas songs on the air.
