Finally a real cool down.

After Hurricane Ian sweat through Florida, it knocked temps down a peg or two, but it didn't take the humidity long to creep back in and having it feel like 90 again. Over the past week I've noticed while the humidity is present, it's not near as bad as it has been and we're expecting a small cool front that's going to knock it down a couple pegs. Although temps will be back in the low 80's by the time my husband's birthday rolls around. Right now, he's taking advantage of the cooler day and mowing the yard. He could've done it last week, but didn't feel like it. He's considering himself Simi-retired. Meh. it's all the same to me I suppose.

Yeah those are our worst. George being from further down south, thinks 60 is cold.

@LadyDuck Mine is starting to get that way. Your blood gets thinner as you age, and it contributes into your ability to stay warm.

@CarolDM Weather seems to have been unusual this year. Except for the tropics, lol

I can relate to your region going through a hot period of heat until a cold breeze came in to my area this morning which will last until Thursday.

Heat is still heat. Where you're pushing it, or riding it, you're still exposed to the heat with a hot motor under you. With little breeze it's still miserable.

@kaylachan Yeah, it was miserable. I must admit. It was just constant heat beating down on me. I hadn't thought about the motor, but you're right.

No more Hurricane Ian at present. You have a great relief then. God is good.

Yep. We shouldn't see anything from the tropics again until next year.
