Life changes by the moment

We had planned to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for a couple of days and then go to our daughter Tammy's for three days. But we realized the weather was going to be cold at Myrtle Beach and my foot's still not up to a lot of walking, so we canceled it. Then, we found out that Kristin and David won't get to Tammy's until 6pm on Saturday. Everyone was going to hear Tammy's husband Jay's band play at a club at 8:30 and Tammy has doctors' appointments on Friday. So, we decided not to drive seven hours each way to only spend a couple of hours with the kids. Plus, we would have had to leave about 3am on Sunday to get back in time for me to sing at a special celebration at a friend's church. It just wasn't worth it. Hopefully we can spend a night at Tammy's on our way to the cruise ship next month. I'm dizzy with all the changes happening so quickly, lol. Who am I? What day is it? But life does change fast and you just have to go with it. What other choice do we have? Any moment by moment changes for you recently?

That's life for you you never know what to expect sometimes. Being able to roll with the punches is so important.

Life definitely changes quickly. Sounds like a good decision. Seven hours is a long trip.

The drive for that long is getting harder the older we get, even though we stop several times along the way.

@1creekgirl I know that long of a drive is hard. That was the distance to visit my Dad.

That’s one of the reasons I don’t like to make plans. If you don’t make ‘em they can’t change. I hope you can reschedule things and it’ll be well worth the wait!

@1creekgirl — my traveling motto: “Hey, that looks like fun.” (Or interesting.). If I think that, I go see it.

Woke up with a strange feeling stomach then since that does not happen often and I do not like fast changes I had to fight my anxiety a good deal today and finally gave myself a real pep talk and now I just feel glad the day is over and I can get into bed and read,

No, things are quiet here. That's a long drive for just a few minutes' visit. I hope you can spend more time next month.

I would not go either. We stay in so much as a result of Mr Covid so we are not used to moment by moment changes.

@1creekgirl Well we’ve just lost another prime minister, this time just 45 days into the job. Every time I looked at the phone (every few minutes) the situation was changing.

We may use time for our own benefit but we can't control anything may happen to our activities like plans, appointments and the like.

Change is always there in our daily lives. We can't avoid changes then. We have to accept the change and eventually the change changes us for the better or worse

Now things are changing fast. Even today many people are unable to go anywhere. You are lucky to be able to enjoy the trip, and meet relatives, and friends.
