Happy Friday! I’m home, waiting for a Home Depot delivery. That won’t stop me from delivering another song that has “something” in the title to you! As 180 as I can possibly get from yesterday’s tune, here’s today’s song that’s something else!
#4: Tell Me Something Good - Rufus
I actually saw a sermon online where the minister referred to “health and prosperity” preachers as “the gospel according to Chaka Kahn,” then started singing this! 
If that doesn’t surprise you, how about this: Stevie Wonder wrote this!
This song is incredibly funky and pretty rocky (but not Bullwinkly 
). That guitar riff is marvelous. And, of course, the great vocals of Chaka Kahn, on her way to superstardom in this band.

Funkified is a great way to describe this song. Surprised that it was written by Stevie Wonder.
Generally I don't pay much attention to who writes the songs just who sings them
