Hinesville Police Chief Lloyd Slater admitted that his office is prepared for any emergency. But on Monday October 17, Chief Lloyd who went into his officer in Hinesville on Monday morning to sign paperwork and return some documents when he saw that his office was broken into by a deer who crashed into his office via a closed window. Thanks to the work of his deputies, the deer then was captured when the deer was trapped inside of the conference room. Even though no one inside of the police station was injured, the captured deer had to be put to sleep due to the injuries the deer suffered when he broke into the police headquarters. I can understand a person who has a complaint with the police over taking out someone who resisted arrest and uses their right to peacefully protest. A deer crashing into a police station in news to me.

I have heard of bears and gators entering police stations or parking lots but not a deer.

Poor deer. I wonder what happens with some of these animals to make them do these strange things.

I know what you mean that in the name of progress, the home of animals in the woods is being removed.

I am sure that the deer was scared from a noise in the wooded area.

I can imagine the deer would have been cut quite badly when he jumped through the window.

Poor guy was just scared It seems like deers have bird eyes they cannot see windows or cars cars well. I have heard so many stories with cars but buses and buildings they just crash into them thinking its a door to next world. I did that myself but I blind too and windows in corporate world is clean as hell. My friend was funny when I did it. I told you guys this dangerous to clean windows that good.

It could be that the deer was likely scared by an auto or a noise in his area of his home.

It makes me so sad that the deer had to be euthanized.

The deer I believe wanted to lodge a complaint if it could only talk.

You are right that if a deer could, they would lodge a complaint since they have feelings like all of us.

@Deepizzaguy That's very true and it would be possible but yet they are animals. They act by their instincts and they do their best to survive.
