A bizarre story of a coyote that survived being hit by a car

When I first read what happened to a coyote who was hit by a car in Tallahassee Florida on Wednesday evening, the first thought that ran through my mind was that the female coyote should have been killed by the impact of the crash of the animal and the auto. What happened is next would qualify for a "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" television show episode since the coyote who only suffered a leg injury was trapped inside of the grill that was broken from the collision with the auto. The owner of the auto took the damaged auto to the Tallahassee Toyota where the mechanics were shocked to see a female coyote inside of the grill of the auto. The mechanics then called the St. Francis Wildlife Association to report seeing the injured female coyote who is lucky that he is not dead from the impact from the collision with the auto. Thanks to the teamwork of the wildlife officials and the mechanics at the dealer shop, the female coyote who was then taken by the wildlife officials to the Allied Veterinary Hospital where the female coyote suffered two broken bones in her body after she spent an entire evening inside of a grill. The female coyote will have an operation on Friday. She is expected to make a full recovery.
