Claudia came in a hurry. I should have take a picture of her. She was beautiful!
Tania chose a Chinese dress for her in Spain. A real Chinese dress, not the ones that are sold in western countries for a small amount of money. The material was silky with a gold print.
She had a gettogether with some friends that she hadn´t seen in years. I´m sure that she will be the most beautiful of the lot
.
She was late so she did not bring me the tongue. I´ll ask about it tomorrow before she eats it all. And if she does, I´ll ask her to buy one for me one of these days.
After she went away, I fried a pork loin steak for me. It turned out very good as it had more fat than another I ate last week.
The day is done. It is night here already and the alarm is on. On TV, there are some people remodeling houses. I could not do that to my house here. The open concept is not easy to have in a country where earthquakes abound. My house is full of brick and mortar.
I´ll reread for some time The Da Vinci code (I found it in my second floor) to see if it is similar to the movie I just saw.

I also bought a real Chinese dress in the Chinese quarter in Milan. It is beautiful, pure silk with embroiled flowers. I almost never wear it, but it is really beautiful. About Da Vinci Code, the book and the movie are similar, as usual the book a lot better.

I once read the book. It is a best seller, not much more than that. But it made me want to go to Europe and walk along the same streets that the characters did. I think that the only best selling book that I have found really interesting was The Godfather.

@wolfgirl569 I tested positive 2 weeks ago. As for checking again I read online and it said that a second test wasn´t worth it.

I liked it. But I did not like it as well when I reread it. Good classics can be read many times but not just bestsellers.

@TheHorse I have reread several times both classics in Spanish and in English. I have read several times some of the novels by Nobel prize winner John Steinbeck. He brings California to our lives.

@marguicha That is an excellent point. I am rereading Richard Hughes's A High Wind in Jamaica for the fifth or so time. It is still great.

I'd love to see Claudia is her lovely new Chinese dress:) I love tongue meat, especially pickled with sliced onion. I've seen those remodeling shows, some of the decorating styles are crazy.
