Today's outing went better than expected. Despite the office trying to tell my husband and me my appointment was tomorrow, they agreed to see me today. I thought it would be a bitter fight, but really. I got to see my actual doctor for once, which isn't a guarantee. So that's nice. Although I think he I think I was ignored about the spinal tap I had done years ago, and was 'diagnosed' with hyperglycemia. So, whatever I guess. It's ironic my blood sugar was normal. And rarely goes above 110, when fasting, and that's usually when I get down to the end of a vial.So the strips aren't as fresh then.

I wouldn't doubt it. You don't have to be diabetic to experience lows. A few factors can make it drop for anyone.

If they turned us away, then we would've just made the trip tomorrow. But, we're glad we didn't have to.

So far this year I haven't been to mine either. And, they seem to think if my insurance company wants something done, I'll do it.

No. I am not diabetic. Hell, my sugars aren't even crazy. Sometimes, they are a little tier than normal, when I go in for bloodwork. But, usually stay well under 100. The fact I hate needles, and drawing my blood is an exercises in patience, does not help. He made that diagnosis based on the fact that I'm seemingly losing sensation in my legs. When I don't think that's the case.
When I was fourteen or about, I had a spinal tap done. During the spinal tap, there was some unusual tension in my right leg. Took me a couple minutes to tell the doctor, because the presedure itself hurt me so badly. Ever sense, when objects touch my legs in a certain way, mostly my right leg, it hurts. And the tool he used was vibrating. I felt the pressure of the tool on my foot, but the vibrating hurt. Not as painful as when I was getting a cast removed. the vibration of the cast saw was torture.
I also had to pee in a cup to check for diabetics according to instructions from my insurance company. Fine. Not ideal, but Yeah I was able to do it.

Not when you have free insurance and your doctor's office is a family practice. The doctor I'm supposed to see, is only in the office so many days. Usually on days my husband works.

That's good. Your blood sugar is normal. Mine is normal too. I'm not diabetic.
