We have tradition of visiting the dead. Trouble is that most of the time people visited during the all saints day not all souls day nov. 2. I personally avoided visiting the cemetery in Nov. 1st to avoid crowds.
But Grandpas bday was also 31st of October, so my mom and aunts visited first. So, yesterday I paid a visit but didn't last long because I got caught up by the rain.
I tried to walk home but I end up my feet getting hurt after nearly quarter mile walk. I went to KFC to eat and rest.
Have a nice day

I'm glad you went to visit your grandparents...
We went a few days ago to avoid the crowds of people at the cemetery.

I haven't visited any of my relatives graves in years because I live too far from the cemeteries.

Hello @LeaPea2417 That's understandable. We haven't visited our relatives graves in a far away city.

The only time I visit my grandparents, parents, etc. is when we plant another one in that particular cemetery. It's too far for me go.

Hello @LadyDuck Well, as long as you have the time. Good thing the cemetery isn't really far.

@Letranknight2015 We have to cross the border and go to Italy, it's not a good time to go there right now.

I am like you. I usually prefer to avoid large crowds.
It's good to pay respects to deceased relatives, especially when it's a tradition for your family and culture.
