Early out in my work shift

Hi there, It's already 3:10pm here in the Philippines of November 3rd. My work shift starts at 7am. I had my lunchtime at 1pm to 2pm. However, due to low customer numbers contacting our website, some of us encourage to extend our lunch until 3pm including me. And some had their extra lunch at 12nn. Then around 2:30pm, our supervisor called our attention to do end of the work shift at 3pm due to same reason. Almost majority of the team members ended the work shift at 3pm. We're having fun that we've ended our work shift early. It should be 4pm. What happened to US and Canadian customers not contacting the online shopping? Is it holiday or just no query at all?

There's no holiday or my doctor's office would be closed today. I have an appointment this morning. Are you usually really busy in the middle of the night with US callers? It's 2:45 am in the middle of the US right now.

@DaddyEvil Yes. Our live chat customer service is open 24/7. Hope you'll be okay after the appointment. Praying for that.

@luisga814 Thank you. It seems weird to me that there'd be that many people with problems that have to be taken care of in the middle of the night. *shrug*

Noember 1 is a holiday in some countries. I don't know why November 2 or 3rd would be slow.

I don't have any explanation for the drop in your online customers and hope it picks up soon. The holidays are coming so I assume people will be shopping

@luisga814 I wonder why no one is inquiring. Black Friday is usually a big sale day bringing lots of customers .

@Marilynda1225 Before last year as of this point, customers already inquiring about the Black Friday sale and no one is inquiring even if it's already posted a link in our website.

@Marilynda1225 Yes indeed. I don't know why it's called Black Friday.

It may just be the economy affecting how people shop now.

@luisga814 I would think so. A lot of people are struggling just to get by and arent spending money on any extras.
