I had forgotten all about Claudia´s birthday.

Claudia´s birthday was a couple of weeks ago, when I was with covid. I did not remember my daughter´s birthday so I didn´t even call her to wish her a happy birthday. Today I suddenly remembered. And I called her to tell her that I had a little present for her. I bought a small salami at the supermarket among other goodies. Claudia loves it and she always tells me that she does not buy it because she would eat it all at once. So I will give her the salami tomorrow with the coffee we will drink .

All is well that ends well.

I had the same problem with my youngest daughter's birthday recently. I had the achy-breaky flu, not Covid, but I was too sick to get out and mail her present to her. She had to get it a bit late, but she didn't mind. I'm just glad I remembered!
