The end of Daylight Savings Time...

...for this year, and in the U.S. at least. Tomorrow marks the official end, but it's starts at 2 A.M. so, my husband just spent the past twenty minutes or so setting all the analog clocks in our home. I'll set the van, tomorrow when we head out. He likes to let it warm up before we go anywhere, even if we don't need to so I can do it while it's doing that before I put on my belt. I still have the stove to do, but I don't feel like playing Gumby to do it right now. Went in to see Chilly, and he's got a bit of bad breath, but he's purring and happy. So, I'll let that slide. Hopefully this is the last time we fall back.

We switched the past Sunday, I am glad that all our clocks are radio controlled.

I'm glad that most my electronics adapt to the change.

@kaylachan I am glad too, at least they remind me that there was the change.

@LadyDuck Yeah, I hear the same too. Every year my husband asks me when the time change actually happens. It can get confusing since it occurs at 2 Am. But, I am happy to help him through it.

Well, you can say was. I am not sure what he thinks of the on and off rain.

@RebeccasFarm No. When we first got him, the tub filling or the shower running would send him under the bed. We've been getting the outer rain bands from Nicole since about ten this morning, so he's not sure what to think.

We don’t do that here. Some people don’t even have clocks in their house

Yeah I hope this year will be the last year we do it. I am tired of setting clocks every year.

Hubby collects clocks, so he had a busy time this afternoon. A couple to do at bed time.

We only have a handful of analog clocks. George likes having them around the house, in case of a power outage. He can see them, where I can't. I have my phone and Apple Watch and MacBook.

@kaylachan one chimes the time every hour. I like that one when I'm awake in the night.

@paigea I had something like that, only the sound was a cat's meow.

And yet, here we are, wondering STILL if the law will ever change, and so far it has not. I REALLY dislike daylight savings time. It's unnecessary. Just get rid of it, already.

I agree. But, we've elected leaders who have better things to fuss and fight over. None of which benifit the country as a whole.

@kaylachan Well, I will admit that time changes are PROBABLY not the most important issue to take up. But it seems like an EASY one they could have done in about an hour. lol

I am the same way. But, it is what it is. Do you think they will end this in 2023?

I could never wrap my head around this daylight savings time, more so being an non-American. Good riddance!

So, this is one of the many things concern you, guys in the US. We don't have such in Asia I guess or even here in Saudi Arabia.
