7 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

With the time change, this day has been overly long. I know it should have been yesterday, however, today felt longer than yesterday did. Do you feel the same way, or did you get fully adjusted yesterday?
I'm thankful I was up early this morning. I really didn't have a choice. My headache woke me at three and I found it pointless to try to sleep longer.
I'm thankful I completed everything on the computer before exercise class this morning. Bible study, games, notifications, and breakfast.
I'm thankful for remembering to go shopping this morning—only one item on my list. I can tell you the price of a six pack of toilet paper shocked me, and I got it from Aldi. Prices are through the roof everywhere.
I'm thankful for the work I did on my Christmas novel. I didn't make a lot of headway. However, I know the direction it's going. I only need to get it together correctly.
I'm thankful I don't need to scrap Love's Illusions, my problem child romance novel. I watched a wonderful movie called A Maple Valley Christmas on Peacock. One of the Hallmark movies. When I read the blurb about it, I thought it sounded just like the novel I've been working on for over 20 years. It's not, but you do need to have tissues handy. I bought the farm near the end. I even worked on Love's Illusions just now and might get it finished this year yet.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. It was about an hour, and I felt rejuvenated. Naps are an important part of the day.
Okay, I'm going to finish the notifications and watch my shows, maybe another movie. We'll see.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. This snow scene is from last Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for another week and another chance to go train jiu jitsu and boxing/muay thai.
Now, if I could get a good side hustle for extra cash, it will be great!!!

@just4him nah!
I'm not that good yet to make this a side hustle of mine. I do this mainly to be better physically and mentally.

A Christmas novel sounds lovely.

I am thankful for the nice day today as well as the garbage trucks coming early afternoon to pick up the trash and the school bus dropping off my nephew from high school safely.

I've noticed the time shift is affecting me in negative ways too. I thought I'd be grateful for the extra hour of sleeping in!

@just4him I'll adjust shortly, I'm sure. I think the time changes were less jarring when they happened in April and October instead of March and November.

I am thankful for the decent weather, despite a cold front and possible tropical system wanting to strike. I'm thankful I was able to do well here and get a lot accomplished. I also did some research. Whatever happens, happens. George isn't to happy about possibly changing our plans, but after seeing the weather he now knows why.

So many things to be thankful for. Hope you're feeling better soon and your headache goes away. I'm thankful that it was beautiful today before it's back to cold weather this weekend. I'm thankful that the election commercials and mailed-in flyers are almost over after tomorrow night. I'm thankful that I still have memories and photos of Wylie, since it's been 10 months when he passed away.
