Update on husband

I told you guys last week about my husband needing to have a bypass but he refused to have it done, but that we were scheduling a 2nd opinion.
Well, last night he had a massive heart attack. I literally had to threaten to leave him if he didn't go to the hospital. I told him I wasn't going to sit around and watch him die.
This hard-headed man says, "Well I'll go but not by ambulance. I'm driving." This man was in the midst of a heart attack. But I got in the car with him. We made it maybe 2 miles before he pulled over and let me call the ambulance.
The drs gave him morphine for the pain he was in and admitted him.
Tomorrow or Friday is the bypass. Please keep us in your prayers for the next few days

I hope that all goes well. But it was very dangerous for you both to drive while he was that ill.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe he drove! My husband had a triple bypass in 2004. Sending prayers that your hubby comes through the operation with flying colors. He will be fine. Be sure to take care of yourself too!

Oh, wow. That is one stubborn man, for sure!
My ex was very stubborn. He insisted on going to work when he was very ill with a high fever. He passed out right before turning on the highway, and hit the ditch and rolled the car. Lucky he didn't die or kill someone. His parents screamed at him so much, I didn't have to say a thing about it. They were just furious. His dad said, ''and I thought you were smart. Guess I was wrong!'' oh was he ever mad.
I hope your husband gets along well with his bypass. I am glad he is where he needs to be.

I had a heart attack and bypass surgery 5 yeaes ago. It was one of the scary times of life but after surgery i felt better then i had in a long time. Its a long recovery but he will do just fine. Keeping you both in my prayers. If you ever need to talk or have any questions I am here for you.
