A broken window at a school in Stevens Point in Wisconsin.

Two employees who were inside of the Pacelli Catholic School in Stevens Point Wisconsin were shocked when a six to eight foot deer crashed through on office window on Tuesday daytime. One of the school employees knocked down the female employee off of her chair which did scare her. However she was not seriously hurt. The other female employee managed to avoid getting hit by the deer since the deer wanted to get out of the building through another window before the deer was able to leave the school building the front door and flee into the woods safely. Despite one female employee being knocked down by the deer, no one was hurt in the incident which is odd since it is rare for a deer to crash into a school building in Wisconsin. I know if I saw a deer run into a room inside of a building, I would leave the house as soon as possible.

@LadyDuck You are right. Size does matter when it comes to animals.

@RubyHawk A deer is the last animal that I know of that would either walk inside of a mall or break down a window unlike a bear.

Oh my gosh that is one of those things so rare no one would ever believe it if there weren’t all those witnesses. What an interesting story.

@Deepizzaguy they are everywhere around here. They weigh a lot and their hooves can really hurt you if you get to close but usually they rub off. Still I’d never expect one to jump through a school window.

I think when people think of a deer, they think of Bambi the fictional character and not realize that real life deer are different from the cartoon character.

@shaggin I never thought that a deer would show aggression by crashing into a school window.

The deer was probably not injured in the incident with the breaking of the glass since there are no reports from the school that the deer limped away from the school.

@LindaOHio It breaks my heart to learn that an animal has to be put to sleep due to an injury.

I agree with you since in this case, the deer was not put to sleep by a law enforcement official.

They were lucky, a deer can cause a lot of damage. They will run into areas.
