Not going to the shop.

I'm not going to the little Tesco this morning and I don't know when or if I will be going. Reason being it is pouring down with rain and doesn't look like stopping any time soon! 
It's my step-dad's birthday today. I don't know how old he is. Over 80. I got him a train in a tin and a book holder that keeps your book open for you while you read. On Mum's instructions I got a big train book for him from my Mum because she wasn't up to going out and getting it herself at the time. Tonight we are having fish and chips from the chippy to celebrate. I will just have fish with mushy peas as usual. Mum will get some non-alcoholic wine from the little Tesco at the same time (if she remembers) and I told her to get 2 TV magazines at the same time!
If I don't go to the shop at all today I'll just have to get what I was going to get from the big Tesco tomorrow.
My arm, shoulder and neck on the left side are still hurting. I put Voltarol on morning and evening but I don't know if it's doing any good. I didn't do any washing yesterday either because of my bad arm. I hope it gets better soon because frankly I'm getting a little bit fed up of this!

@LadyDuck Yes, we do. It was lifting a big heavy box with Christmas card making stuff in it that did my arm in!

My shoulder was hurting too this morning. It's my right shoulder. It's been raining here too. Happy birthday to him!! I am thinking about getting a new pillow to see if it helps my shoulder.
