Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 40 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Doesn’t matter to me. I won’t be going anywhere today. . .
Because I’m in the hospital. 
I was admitted yesterday afternoon. Last night was pretty miserable between the pain and a screaming woman. I slept a bit after each dose of morphine but only like an hour at a time.
I just had a GI consult with a nurse practitioner. She said I can only have full liquids to start today. That stinks because I haven’t eaten since Friday. I don’t eat Jello. I hope the soup is at least tolerable. Anyway I was surprised to hear her say that I could be out of here by tomorrow if my bloodwork improves. I thought it would be more like 4-5 days. I hope I can leave tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me!
So obviously I have no plans for the day aside from watching TV, myLotting, having blood drawn, and having my vitals checked. What’s everyone else up to today?

I hope they plan on figuring out what's going on before they discharge you! Will be thinking about you and praying for you. Today I have a 3 pm Telehealth appointment with my psychiatrist. Just a routine appt. so I can get my prescriptions renewed.

Hope you feel better soon. It's a rainy day today so all I want to do is go back to bed. I have nothing really planned today.

So what has the doctor determined, as the root of your pain? Is it your kidneys or pancreas?

Fingers crossed that your bloodwork will improve and you will be able to leave tomorrow. I know being in the hospital it never fun.
