The term is an abbreviation for "no-mobile-phone phobia" It was coined in the year 2010 study by the UK Post Office.
I think I don't have this kind of phobia because I can leave the house without my phone with me but if I won't have a smartphone for a long time it will surely make me paranoid.
Almost all people now have mobile phones even senior citizens have their own mobile phones, even people who are considered poor have a mobile phone.
Do you have anxiety when you don't have your mobile device?

Honestly, I feel uneasy (not to the extent of anxiety though) if I go out and find that I forget to bring my mobile phone.

What I really care about is how fast the battery drains so I cannot enjoy much using my phone

@averygirl72 My battery charge lasts 10 days, I only use my phone to answers or place calls.

I think this kind of phobia is already becoming common now that you feel uncomfortable without the phone with you all the time. I also have that feeling when I am at work every time I leave my workplace I see to it that my phone is with me so I can answer/text anyone that messages me.

I do not feel much anxious if I do not have a mobile phone, when I am outside.
