And another one…

Still on the subject of grapes, another thing I wanted to try was spiced pickled grapes. I rather liked the look of this recipe and saved it years ago from a magazine, probably Country Living. But I wasn’t keen enough to actually buy grapes to make it with. Then for several years we did have two big grape vines in the garden but they both produced seeded grapes so that wouldn’t work. Now at last I got my chance to try it! I just made three small jars. I haven’t been able to try them yet as they are meant to be stored for at least three weeks, but the recipe claims they are good with smoked meats or cheeses. I was pleased that at least they looked exactly like the illustration! All rights reserved. © Text and image copyright Fleur 2022.

I have never tried them so I'm waiting in anticipation. I'll have to get some smoked cheese as recommended.

I had no idea grapes could be pickled in such a way. I'm curious how it tastes three weeks later.

I am seeing it for the first time. In India we only have green grapes and black grapes

I love the fat little jars you have them in. Don't forget to let us know what they're like when it comes time to try them.
