Another Cold Day

I waited til two o’clock today to begin my walk. I dressed In three layers, coat, scarf, bogan and gloves and a warm coat. It was a pretty sunny day, a good day to be outside. I walked down by the creek and out to Azalea Springs.Cold wind was blowing in my face and I pulled my bogan down to cover my ears, but otherwise it was okay. I met one person on the trail clicking pictures of the scenery. Everything was quiet but the trickle of the creek. The sky was a beautiful blue and a jet-was flying so high overhead I could barely see it. There were no colored leaves to be found. I walked for an hour and came back home. When I walked in my apartment it felt too hot so I removed my extra layers of clothes. I had the heat set to 68 but turned it down 65 and I’ve been warm and comfy the rest of the day. My mom and I went for a walk about 1:30 yesterday afternoon. It was windy - we thought it'd be cold, but we stripped off an outer layer because it actually got too hot! So nice you live near a naturesque trail with a creek - sounds like a beautiful day.

I always feel better after a good walk. I really didn’t get cold but I was dressed warmly. My face was a little cold.

It was in the thirties, but I was warm other than my face. Walking heats you up a bit.

My mother often went out in the garden towards evening and did a bit of digging. She said it warmed her up for the night. A bit of activity is sometimes the best way to get warm.
