Good morning from this side of the planet... it's 11:22 AM as I write this post. It's bright, sunny and pleasant here.. I am wearing a light jacket as it feels a bit of chill these days. Had a short day at work..I worked only from 9__10 AM and had one session with two of my Montessori children. Rest two sessions were cancelled as it's a holiday for Middle school and my other two sessions were with the middle school students.So, I was back home early at 10:20. Middle school had their three days long successful literature fest that continued till Saturday afternoon. Teachers and students have been given today off to rest as they worked into weekend. I knew that it's going to be short day. So, I left few of my morning chores to be done after work . Took a long relaxed walk in the morning in this beautiful weather.. Walked to and back from work. So, I had enough walking today.. It's bright sunny and I did one load of laundry from the weekend. They are drying and now the other cycle is on with my walking shoes and that of husband . My husband is working from home. He has an early morning flight tomorrow and he would be gone for a business trip till Friday night. I will sit and mylot for a while and then move to making lunch and some bit of cleaning around the house. That's the picture of the beautiful hibiscus flower from my terrace garden this morning. Isn't it gorgeous . Some of my roses died due to excessive rain this year. Luckily, a few survived and they are doing good. I didn't want to bring more roses as the rain is still unpredictable one here and it's heartbreaking to loose plants.. So, I replaced the roses in few pots with some more varieties of hibiscus. They are easy going hardy plants. They are thriving well. This is the first bloom of the yellow hibiscus in my garden. Have a good time in your mylot corner . Now I move on to the recent posts.
