Well, strange phone calls.

Scam artists can be interesting to say the least. I just got one talking about money for home improvements. Ones we don't need. We replaced our fridge last year, replaced our windows the first year living here and had solar panels installed on our house. We're not looking to do any projects we don't plan on taking on ourselves. So, I'm not getting a loan I don't need or paying a scam artist when I don't have to. I'm smarter than that.

The scam artists that make mad are those that send message that I will arrested by deputies since I did not pay my taxes to the IRS. The IRS insists that they never make threats like this on the telephone. They will send me a letter..

That's true. Any true self-respecting organization, especially that of the U.S. government will send a letter and request you contact them. Never the other way around.

I love it that most of my spam mail goes into that folder and I can just delete it all, but occasionally I do get some in my email. There are those offering money for home improvements and those offering loans I just delete tham all out besides I do not own this house but rent an apartment.

Life is so hard nowadays that people would resort to anything. I was also nearly scammed when I replied to a text I thought came from my daughter saying she lost her cell phone and was using someone's phone and that If I could send her money. But a game called Forrestville saved me, because I tried to finish the game and that's when I realized, the person was a scammer.

In cases like that, it's best to contact the person directly they claim to be, if at all possible.

@LadyDuck No, I don't doubt it. Anotherone tried to call while I was busy shopping. I answered on my Apple Watch, but no one spoke.

They sent themselves packing, because I reached over to pause Youtube, and that's when they hung up on me.

The sad part is that JUST enough people DO fall for this stuff, and it's just enough to keep them in business.

@porwest Many of them do't even leave messages. Guess they don't want my money that badly.
