This what interest me today in my app. It is about cats being addicted to tuna and they will stop eating other food and just tuna only. Tuna can be bad in cats because of its high mineral salts which can cause bladder stones. Also it can lead to Vitamin E deficiency which can lead to Yellow fat disease or steatitis where the fat in the body hardens. I think cat will love tunas because it is a fish and for me it is tasty. Didn't know it could be bad for them.

Neither of my cats like tuna or fish. They like chicken flavors.

My cat used to like salmon cat food, but she didn't like the tuna. Maybe she was smarter than I thought!

Raw tuna not treated is good for them, canned tuna is high in sodium and everything "salty" is bad for cats.

That is true. Even dog foods smells very salty to me and I think it is bad for their health

@averygirl72 Everything salty is bad both for dogs and cats, but cats suffer more because of salt in food.

I think it depends on how much tuna they eat because if it was all bad cat food would not include tuna, I think most likely it is people tuna they should avoid,

I know. Even though it is bad for them, our cats eat fish kibble and fish wet food.

Maybe it is safer if it is a cat food than tuna

I only give dog food to my dog Luna. She prefers what I eat by far but I only give her a little of my food as a snack. I´m not sure that my food will be good for her.

I guess it's the same old story - too much of anything is usually bad. Moderation in all things is better.
