Assigned as POC

Good morning, it's 6:30am here in the Philippines of Wednesday. I don't how it feels to be assigned by my supervisor as one of the POC's this coming Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow and on Friday, my supervisor will be on-leave. At first, my colleague, who's consistently having good surveys assigned as POC (point of contact), but she declined and instead suggested my name to the supervisor. POC (either one or two person in the team) is the contact person from other teams, even the management who needed us for those days that my supervisor is on-leave. POC is also the one who will assist the needs of the teammates with their chats. Of course, it's my pleasure to lead those days. And the supervisor without hesitation said, "Okay, Luis, you take the lead and Cherrie will assist you." For the month of November, my scores from surveys, number of contacts and responses goes higher and higher. From a total of 104 US Market advisors of the cluster, I started at rank 26. Then, goes to 21, then goes to 16 and as of yesterday, I'm on rank 11 already. And my supervisor is expecting that much that I'll be on top10 by the end of November. I love the way, my supervisor now believing what I can do. Just to give you a background, this is the supervisor whom I've mentioned here in my previous discussions that always gets mad at me without any reason. He changes the way he talk to me if I'm done wrong or commits a small error. He's always calm now when he's talking to me. It was started that calm relationship with the supervisor when he got mad one of my errors last month and I've answered him in a heated argument. He was shocked that time the way I answered to him. Anyway, to cut the long story short, he's good at me now. Hope it will last long. Although, I'm assisting my teammates when I'm not interacting with any chats or my chats is manageable. But being the lead POC is an extra job that I can't resist.
