Peppie is not eating sardines

I have yet to come across cats that are choosy when it comes to fish We bought some fish yesterday and the guy only had sardines They were fresh and I thought Peppie who is fond of fish would grab them the minute I put them in his bowl.
He just sniffed them and did not get back there again. I do not know what to do now as that fish will be just wasted. I just called up the guy and told him to take it back and he does not have to pay me. I hope he comes.
In the meantime the maid will visit the market and get some fish until I get the usual guy with more fish tomorrow.
I thought kids had issues with food

Our little boy would die for fish and I just could not believe he would do this The sardines are fresh. The maid has now bought some mackerels and the great guy has gone for a stroll. When he gets back I will give him that.

He ate the other food - chicken feet and the dry feed. This morning I gave him the fish the maid had bought from the market and he finished it all (lol)
