Thanks to the teamwork of the Central Emergency Services firefighters as well as the Alaska Department of Fish and Game wildlife biologist and Alaskan State Troopers who assisted the homeowners of a home when a moose fell into the basement after the moose through a window in Soldotna on Sunday. The investigation determined that the moose fell into a window well that caused the moose to crash through the glass and wind up inside of a basement bedroom. It is not known if anyone was inside of the bedroom when the moose came to visit the owners of the home. My guess is that the homeowners called the authorities to report the incident of the moose who must have been a young moose since the moose was not a large animal which made it easier for the authorities to sedate the animal a tarp that is sued to carry humans who are persons who are knocked out. The moose was treated by the wildlife biologist who took care of the moose who suffered minor cuts on his legs that came from the broken glass. The biologist gave the moose medicines to reverse the effects of the sedative that was used to knock off him out. The good news is that the moose walked away from the home where he was rescued back to his area where he calls his home.

Oh gosh, a moose in your bedroom would be the last thing you wanted.

That young moose really took a spill! Through a glass window, that's awful! I'm glad he was returned to the wild

@MALUSE If a person falls off a bicycle, they took a spill. This simply means that they fell down.

@MALUSE And being from another part of the world, that's understandable! What keeps me on my toes, My Lot members who live in Australia. They always use terms, that I'm not familiar with:)

@MALUSE Yes, there are certain terms that are used, other parts of the world have never heard before:) Traditions are different, also.

That's a first for me. I've never seen a window well so I had to look that up and I had no idea a moose would get so close to human dwellings.

I am sure that the moose was really scared that he fell into a bedroom before he was rescued by the authorities.
