Rodney Daniel who was working as a volunteer at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta Georgia saw his chance to save the lives of several persons whose auto was trapped on railroad tracks last Saturday evening who would have been killed had Rodney not used his cellphone to contact the train that was coming toward the auto was stuck on the railroad tracks.
The auto had passengers who had attended a basketball game of their hometown Atlanta Hawks who had played a basketball game on Saturday at the State Farm Arena.
Rodney used his wits to contact the engineer of the train to stop so she could get the girls who were inside the auto that was stuck on the train tracks to get out fast.
Rodney managed to get a stone and place it underneath a wheel that was wedged on the train track so he could move the auto of the way as the train stopped short of hitting the auto.
Everyone was safe thanks to the actions of Rodney who was doing volunteer work with the Wellspring Living event which is a charity that assists victims of sex trafficking.
I am sure that we are going to be entering the Christmas holiday season, there will be many more stories of acts of heroism in our world.

That is what I was wondering how he used his cell phone to tell him to stop the train before a tragic event would have happened.

@RubyHawk I am sure that Rodney probably has a list of emergency numbers on his phone.

@Deepizzaguy That would be interesting to know, unless he had the phone number of the engineer, I can't imagine how he did it.

I have seen train collisions with autos that are stuck on the train tracks on You Tube. It is a very scary sight.

@celticeagle A collision with a train and auto or truck is scary to look at in real life compared to an entertainment show.

I am in agreement with you that Rodney knew what to do to prevent an auto from being hit and the passengers inside the auto was evacuated in time.

I am sure that Rodney knows to contact engineers with the use of technology in his possession to make emergency calls on a cellphone.

I am in a agreement with you that Rodney was at the right place at the right time on Saturday evening to save the lives of the young girls who left the basketball arena.

I admire Rodney for taking the time to save the lives of the young girls aboard the auto that could have been mashed by the train as well using his wits to inform the engineer of the train to stop the train in time.
