Covid Cases have rised in India!! 129 New Covid cases recorded Today!! / myLot

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. Covid cases have rised again in India. Today, new 291 Covid cases have been recorded taking total tally of Covid cases to 4,46, 71, 853. The death toll has climbed to 5,30, 614 with two fatalities reconciled by Kerala. However, the Covid Recovery Rate is good for India as it's 98.80%. According to Ministry's Website, 219.90 crore doses of Covid Vaccine have been administered in the country so far. We as a family haven't stopped wearing masks when outside. In fact, we are wearing mask at home when the maid comes. We don't want to take any risk as we know how dangerous is this virus. So many lives were lost in previous years of our dear ones, people whom we knew or just heard in news. Let me know what's the situation at your place? Are you taking precautions? I just hope and pray that situations we faced in last 2-3 years don't arise again. It's already in the news how the Covid cases are increasing daily in China. It's so alarming and scary at same time. I hope so too. Noone wants to have that lockdown time coming again. I hope people stay cautious in order to prevent it's spread

I am not discounting that Covid is still out there. And anyone's case can be serious or fatal, I understand that too. It has to be a bit reasuring to know that out of india's big population, (I looked it up, it says 1. 4 Billion people) 291 isn't as many as it could be, let's hope people are careful!! Every day I see on the morning news that China is rebeling about Covid restrictions and that it is bad there. My county in my state keeps track of daily cases, we currently had almost 200 new cases today. That doesn't sound like a lot after previous numbers in our recent past, but we number in the thousands, not billions. I hope your family stay safe and well!

I agree to what you said that the numbers are less compared to past years but people should act responsible and cautious so that the numbers don't increase much as that of past years. Ya we are doing good and staying safe
