Are you a saver or a spender?

I am a spender, but not a crazy one. I always look for great deals, and don't feel compelled to spend all the money I have. It seems like savers and spenders always end up together and tend to drive each other nuts. My sister and brother in law are both very frugal but there things they spend money on like expensive pies for instance...
, and of course their kid's college educations but fortunately, that is all over with now. Friend is actually a bit like me. He likes to spend, but he has savings as well.

I wish I could say I don't waste money, but I know I do.

@RubyHawk My sister is super frugral. She is one that is always sticking little pieces of soap together so she doesn't have to buy any. I do that too, but not quite as much as she does. She holds onto everything. I wouldn't describe her as a hoarder but she hates to get rid of things. Everything has a story and all that.

@Blondie2222 I ordered something for Cyber Monday, but I got off of there right quick afterwards. I knew the more "deals: I looked at the more likely I was to buy something else.

The money that I earn doing surveys goes to the bank to assist my relatives to buy our basic needs and pay bills, I only spend part of my salary on buying print cartridges and batteries for my radio and remote.

I am always looking for ways to cut corners and save money. If Jay runs out of cash, I give him as much as he needs. I'm not a tight wad!

I do spend if I need to...but I try to tell myself if I spend less now, I will have more to spend later.

My concentration right now is paying off all my credit card bills so I can save in earnest.

I am in the middle because I am hard with bills. I like to pay on bills early and as long as it is ever recurring I want more and more on it. I save every month but my last available goes to another payment on a recurring bill. I hate it but it is a better habit to have than many. I like a surplus of goods so yeah I spend on needs a lot.

As of late I am trying a bit harder to stay out of the stores. If I am in a store, I generally feel obligated to spend.

@snowy22315 I take what I want to spend and always do my best to leave with change. I have saved a ton that way.

I do that too, but I would not consider myself necessarily to be a saver just do to that. By getting a "good deal" you might buy more of something, or sometthing you don't necessarily need.

Well if it i something you need, why not? I am more on spending impulsively. That kind of thing is dangerous.

I used to be a saver. But lately I have been a spender out of necessity.
