Help needed regarding paypal account

So, I have given my boyfriend's paypal account here because I don't have one. When he tried to receive the payment by clicking on the link sent by mylot, his paypal aacount page directed him to upgrade his account to a business account. But he doesn't own a buisiness. So what should I do? I mean he cannot roll out false information. So can anybody here suggest me something?

PayPal shouldn't be doing that. It only does that if someone tries to send you money from a credit/debit card. myLot doesn't pay using debit or credit cards. myLot sends money directly from their PayPal account to ours. Your boyfriend needs to contact PayPal and explain the problem. In the meantime, you can just take his PayPal account off your page at myLot and let the money build up. When you get your own PayPal account or when he gets things worked out with PayPal, you can put the account back into myLot and they'll send the money in your account on the 15th of the next month. Wait a minute... myLot doesn't send a link. myLot sends money directly to the designated PayPal account.

Just fine, just upgrade to business. It has no documents requirements as far as my experience goes.

I do not have a business account and I regularly receive the payments from myLot. I would suggest your girlfriend to contact PayPal, there is something weird, myLot NEVER sends a link to PayPal.
