Medication Shortage and Appointment Anxiety

Two weeks ago(or so) I tried to refill one of my medications - a weekly injection for diabetes (not insulin). They didn't get the shipment of the medicine.
I went to check on it tonight and the pharmacist told me nope, they did not have the medicine still. I have had trouble getting it in the past; might have had to go a week or so without it...but now I am worried I won't be able to get it anytime soon. Luckily I see the doctor tomorrow and maybe he can find something else.
I read that there is a shortage because celebrities are using it for weight loss. It does say that people can lose about 15 pounds while taking it. SMH....
Anyways, I am still very nervous about my appointment with my Endocrinologist. He was so proud last time, except that I had gained some weight. My A1c went from 12 in January to 6.5 in August. I am guessing it is around 8 this time.
I am also nervous because of the weight gain. Why have I gained so much?
I need to bring up the facts about the medicine not coming in, why is my weight up, do I need insulin with each meal? I need to bring up my thyroid - do I have hypothyroidism? So many questions that I don't want to ask...

Hope he can put you on something else that you can get each time. Ask everything. Write them down to take with you so you dont forget.

@MommyOfEli2013 Then write everything down and give it to the doctor or take someone with you that has the list. You need the answers to learn what is going on.

Oh, I would not ask with my anxiety. It's not forgetting really, it's I can't talk with my anxiety.

Could be, hard to say...although I have gone without that medicine for years without gaining weight like this
