the morning so far

I'm a little more than 80 cents short of the cashout goal, and I have trouble earning so much in a single day. I do have the day off, so it's possible, but there are also things I want to do today besides MyLotting. We'll see how it goes. The kids are about to head out to school. The youngest guy is dragging his feet a bit and says he wants a day off. He just had a whole week off for Thanksgiving break and wants a bit more, which I do understand. I told him his Legos will still be waiting for him when he gets home and that today is a school day. At least he's in a cheerful mood. The two adult children are waking up and will probably be heading for the coffee pot in a moment. One of them has work today, and I think the other might have a class (I haven't kept track of his class schedule this semester and he switched jobs recently, so I don't always know when he's going to be out), so it may be a quiet house today. I have to get some Christmas gifts for my siblings and their families, and I need to organize a photo book to give my dad as his Christmas gift. The photo book is going to take a little time, but I want to make sure he gets it in time. I have yet to have my morning cup of coffee, and I should probably get that before the coffee pot is emptied. How is your morning today? Are you making your MyLot goals?

Sometimes 80 cents is hard for me to reach in a single day, too. Usually, I average around 70 cents in a day or, really, a night. I hope you can reach your goal. Good luck. Yeah, I passed $5 on the sixth or seventh of the month... I hope you enjoy your day off work.

@spiderdust I still hit $1 or a little more in a day sometimes. Not every day anymore, for sure. One month I challenged myself to hit an average of $1 per day and made it until I couldn't see the last three days that month. I think I hit $1.50 a couple of days, if I'm remembering correctly. And yeah, more people on myLot does help.

I'm not sure if I've ever earned 80 cents in a single day on here, but I know several people have earned a dollar a day on the regular. Of course, that was a couple of years ago when more people were posting and they got into more arguments online than I do. But we'll see how it goes. The day is young!

@DaddyEvil Pushing yourself until you can't see isn't a good idea, not for pennies. Did you find out what was causing the eye swelling? I don't remember if you've mentioned it before, just that it led up to you having to retire.

Here is a response for you to help with your goal. I don't make mylot goals, but I would like to make more than last month, which was a slow month for me.

@Tampa_girl7 At this point, I'm still 60 cents short, so I'm pretty sure I won't make cash out.

I hope so too, but I'm not expecting to. I just realized I need to run out of the house for an errand, so that reduces my chances today. Oh, well! It will be waiting there for me next month.

I hope you made the goal. I understand wanting a day off. I hope he has a good day at school. I had a good day. It's gone like clockwork. Everything worked well together.

I think he had a good day. He was still very cheerful when he got home. I'm still 60 cents short of goal, so I don't think I'm going to make it today. I'll just consider myself way ahead for next month!

A photo book is a great gift idea. No mylot goals for me recently.

Yeah, Dad already has a lot of stuff, but he might enjoy the pictures, especially since we live on the other side of the country and don't get to see him much.

I met last night what I call "mt second goal". That is reaching $10 in a month. Last year I earned $15 every month but this year I could never reach those heights. We´ll see what next year will bring.

Yeah, I've noticed a few people are missing now. It doesn't take very long for me to go through all of the posts. Congrats on meeting your second goal!

Totally and arbitrarily!!! Oh, wait, that’s my answer to Pony about myLot goals. I can understand wanting a day off after a four-day weekend. The Monday after Thanksgiving weekend might be the hardest day of work of the year. You go from work to a “day off” that could be quite traumatic for people with family issues, then three days of insanity. Some people like the Monday after Thanksgiving to get some rest after the weekend, though. Hope you have a good day, and here’s a penny for your thoughts.

Thanks for the penny! The kids actually had a FULL week off last week (except for the 17-year-old, his school only had Wednesday-Friday off), so he got quite comfortable with sleeping in every morning. Sometimes it's hard to be only 6 and getting up so early. A sign that I grew up rural: the Monday after Thanksgiving was always a school holiday because it was the first day of deer hunting season. I guess they figured so many people were going to be absent anyway, so it was an official day off school.

It would be nice if you could earn enough today to hit your goal but it's hard to spend time online when you have other things to do. This is the first month I probably won't make payout.

I thought I might make it this month, but I suspect I won't after all. At least that will make next month a lot easier!
