My sister visited and we walked

My younger sister from another city visited me three days ago, and she urged me to walk every day. The day she came, we checked-in at a hotel and during that stay, we walked early in the morning and the late afternoon. "You need it," she said. "older people should walk a lot."
And I'm glad I listened to her. It has only been 4 days since I started walking and I felt my bowel movement and digestion improved a lot. Also, the heaviness on my chest is slowly disappearing, and to think I've done it only for the 4th day today.
Have you had the same experience? Feel free to share them with me and our MyLot friends.

I do bowl on video games once a day which makes me feel better since the exercise of simulating being in a bowling alley is great to lose weight.

I'm happy your sister came for a visit. Wow useful inspiration she had for you there. I do slowly like feeling better when I exercise. Maybe you have inspired me

Walking is good for you. I have gotten mildly addicted to it.

@RebeccasFarm No, my sister went back to her work in another city. But she promised to come again next week. I wish we could do that, but I'm in another time zone.

I'm glad your walking has helped you. I am unable to walk more than about 50 feet.

How many did your sister stay in your city? The walk would be a good exercise for sure.

Exercise is important at all ages but especially in older people. Sadly, many older people cannot exercise as much as they should due to health issues. I have a heart condition and simply cannot walk more than half a mile or so without getting breathless but I do try to get some exercise every day
