Kirstie Alley died of cancer at the age of 71

I just now read online on a news program I like to read in Israel that she died on Monday. She got her big start on Cheers. I remember watching her on it. I really liked that show. I also loved the character that played Sam Mallone in it.
Have you seen her in Cheers and did any of you read that she died at the age of 71 of cancer. That is a shame that she could not beat the cancer. It is very sad how this disease takes over one's life.

I read about her passing on a blog early this morning. It's sad. She was so pretty and a great actress. I do remember that show.

I saw her in Cheers a couple of times. It seems the cancer took her very quickly.
