In the past I bought a set of coconut opener (includes the hammer and tools) and it is easy for me to open the coconut. I know the set tools charged much more than the coconuts and actually I don't eat coconuts so often But it is still useful. Now I am thinking about buying a professional big knife to chop bones. As I will buy big beef ribs and they look long and quite big. They may not fit to my oven, wok etc. I have no more experience to the knife. I guess the knife looks like an axe will work better? If anyone who has a better idea, please tell me and it is better to upload an image so that I can buy it according to its look

Make sure it doesn't cut your fingers. Be careful using those.

I have one like that, it's good to cut bones and you need a thick and solid wooden plank to use with it.

It's like a machete for chopping down a tree. You need something lighter than this.

It does look like an axe, only the back of it is too thin to chop bones .

Did you buy one? I have always wanted one but also consider it extravagant.

I just use a long sharp knife to cut my meat to fit on a pan and put in the oven.

That knife is good for those big beef ribs. And for chopping meat and fruits and vegetables. Will make cutting water melon easy as 123
