I´m sipping a very cold water after lunch.

I ate a potato salad for lunch and now I´m drinking water with lots of ice. After sundown I´ll cook rice. I cannot go into the kitchen at this time of the day, specially since I like to fry the rice with crushed garlic before I add hot water and let it simmer. I´ll take a nap and the, probably, either read for a while, mylot or watch TV. All of this will be in bed trying not to move at all. What do you do when there´s too much heat? In my country December is the warmest month of the year.

Do you have fans at all that would cool you Marghicha? I know how that is not wanting to go in the kitchen to cook because of intense heat. It is the same here, even in my new place.

I have a fan in my bedroom, one that is now on the floor. I use it at night.

@RebeccasFarm Where I live, it is a bit chilly at dawn even in summer so houses are not so hot. The second floor of my house is hotter but the first floor isn´t.

July and August are our hottest months. I avoid to cook and we eat cold food. We drink a lot of ice cold water and I run a fan in the bedroom.

I don´t have air conditioner or central heating here. Our climate is not as harsh.
