10 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day. I slept in unless you consider I went to bed late, then I got the same number of hours of sleep. I got up at 4 AM instead of 2:30.
I'm thankful for a wonderful day. I saw snowflakes. It didn't last long and turned to rain, but I saw snowflakes. 
I'm thankful for getting the chores done before my friends came. We had a wonderful visit. Of course, I did most of the talking. I tend to do that. They loved my apartment.
I'm thankful for the beautiful Christmas music I've been listening to most of the day on YouTube. I have it streaming through Roku.
I'm thankful for the workout I got on the bike this morning. I beat my old record by over a minute. My best before today was 23:05. Today was 21:59. Yes, I was tired when I got to that five-mile marker on the bike and could shut it down. My average speed was 13.6 mph. That is literally the best I've ever done.
Okay, that's my day. My house is clean, I had a wonderful visit with friends and listened to beautiful Christmas music. Oh, and we got paid. How awesome is that? I also wished my best friend a Happy Birthday. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Honestly, I am thankful we got paid by mylot today. That was a good thing. Also thankful I got my butt in gear and mailed some Christmas cards.

I am grateful that my payday came in today since along with my paycheck that comes in tomorrow evening from Branded Surveys will be used to put some money in the bank to assist my family get our needs met next week.

Your day sounds awesome all the way around. Beating your own record on the bike must have made you happy.
Glad you had a nice visit with your friends and that they liked your apartment. It does look nice from the pictures you post.
