12 December - What I'm Thankful for Tonight

Today has been one of those days you never plan for. I was awake at midnight and got up at midnight-thirty. I'm thankful for getting up that early. I accomplished a lot this morning. Before my 5:30 AM nap, when most of you were still sleeping beneath your nice warm covers, I - I am thankful I got the Bible Study done, my games played, worked on a chapter in Destination Love, and worked on the notifications. I'm thankful for the one-hour nap I got at 5:30. It rejuvenated me and I've been going since. After my nap, I'm thankful for the exercise I got. First, on the bike. My time this morning was 22:47, my second-best time. It looks like I might stay in the twenty-two-minute range from now on. I'm thankful for the exercise class. We did the longer 45-minute workout. So, lots of exercise this morning. I'm thankful for getting all the presents wrapped for the people at church. Now, I only have two more Secret Santa gifts to wrap and then my son's and his girlfriend's presents. I'm thankful my son's gift arrived today instead of tomorrow. I know he told me not to buy him anything Star Wars because he has a lot and getting him something he doesn't have is a gamble. I'm quite sure this gamble paid off. I'm thankful for the Secret Santa gift I got today. It's a handmade bar of soap, emerald color. It smells nice. I'm thankful for the Christmas cards I got today from a myLotter, a friend in the building, and my sister. I also got a hand-knitted ornament for the tree, pictured above. This afternoon I watched a couple of good Christmas movies, a Hallmark variety but not Hallmark movies. These ones were on Netflix. Okay, that's my day.
