A six-foot alligator managed to get through a fence in a business whose name was not released by the Lufkin Police Department.
The owner of the business that is located in Lufkin contacted the police who had the assistance of the animal control officers in the same city to work as a team to remove the alligator who was on the grass section of the business on Saturday..
Two Lufkin police officers named Christian Ibarra and his partner Caleb Forrest who is the officer assigned to use her roping skills to capture the loose alligator who was then given to the two female employees of the Lufkin Animal Control Carol Cintula who used her pole skills to stop the alligator from going anywhere where her partner Alisha Holman was able to use duct tape to cover the mouth of the gator.
The alligator was then removed from the property and taken to another location to a nearby lake unharmed.
My guess is that the alligator decided to get out of the lake near the business building to take a walk around town since their homes are being taken away in the name of progress by humans.

I agree with you that alligators need to have a home.

@RubyHawk That is what a wildlife official said on Fox News during an interview clip that played on You Tube.

@Deepizzaguy Wild animals need homes just as humans do.

I am sorry that I did not mention the state of Texas in my post.

@Deepizzaguy No need to apologize, I just thought I recognized Lufkin, that's all.

I agree with you that the alligators are losing their homes due to human activity. At least the alligator is safe and sound.

No way I want to see an alligator in my backyard either.

I share the same feelings that the alligator was not injured when he was removed from the premises of the business.

I am sure the laws in Texas forbid a law enforcement officer or animal control officer from taking the life of an animal unless it is in self defense.
