Bob has some ongoing urological concerns that are addressed through the VA. When we go, it is often we have to stay in Wichita for the entire day.
Yesterday there were people giving out gift bags of various types, one per veteran.
Bob received this string bag from TheFatherstouch2015 ministry.
Reading about this ministry I learn that it is a volunteer organization that reaches o ut to many people to demonstrate tangibly the love we receive from God.
This bag has various essentials that could be very important to someone who may not have resources.
There were first aid items, like bandaids and cough drops, and hygeine items such as a comb, toothbrush, toothpaste and a razor. Other things include warm gloves, an interesting hat/head cover, socks and a wash cloth.
There are kind people everywhere.
We hung the bag on the wheelchair while we negotiated the long halls from the entrance to the outpatient clinic upstairs.

I hope Bob is doing well. The two of you have been through so much. That was kind of the ministry to give you some gifts.
