Good morning. Well, the good news this morning is that Green Bay has the potential for a blizzard on Friday. Right now we're expecting almost a foot of snow. The bad part about that is Friday is our Christmas service get-together and party. It might need to be rescheduled.
This morning I have a hearing appointment. Finally! It took losing a hearing aid for the doctor to get the referral over to the audiologist. They called yesterday and had a cancellation for this morning. Yes, I took it. I want to hear properly again and I want to get back to the pool.
Today, our weather plummets. Our high is 24 at 8 AM. I don't know if we're going to get that high. Then temps go down throughout the day. Wind chills will also be a huge factor today.
So, my plan for today is to stay inside once I get home from the audiologist. I might get shopping done also before I come home. I also need to figure out when I'm doing laundry this week or do it here. Which might be the better solution with all the snow we're getting this week.
We got snow last night and getting more tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday. We'll see what happens.
If you watched Monday night football, you know the Packers beat the Rams 24-12. It was a good game. I'm still doubtful we'll make the playoffs. We have three games left, Miami, Minnesota, and Lions. Minnesota is the division leader and is headed for the playoffs. I expect a win against the Lions, but I don't know anything about the Dolphins.
Okay, that's my day. I'll work on a book and get the notifications taken care of and stay warm on this very cold day. How is your day shaping up? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Currently minus 1 degree, supposed to get to plus 1°C/33°F. Warmer tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Maybe snow but mostly rain on Thursday and Friday. But your nasty weather should hit us on Saturday with a predicted high of only -4°C/25°F with strong winds and power outages hinted at.

@just4him I have lots of candles and an oil lamp, even, but it would be nice to have a gas stove to cook on. Hope you're well prepared, too.

Oh good. I don't have near enough!
Thank you. I just heard from them and almost thought I would need to cancel, but after looking up my info, my hearing aid is still under warranty. Praise GOD! So, I'll be leaving in under an hour to get it taken care of.

Lucky you getting a blizzard but sorry that it might cancel your party plans. While you're getting all that snow we'll be getting rain for two days and then plunging into freezing temperatures through the weekend.

@just4him that has to be our motto as winter weather moves in for the next few months. Gotta be safe and not take any risks falling and breaking something.

It sounds like things are pretty good in your world. I am sure you will get things figured out in terms of the laundry. My Commanders team has a better record than the Packers but their play off chances are less than 50 percent...so I am not happy. At least the season is long this year.

I think it's cold everywhere with the Siberian front coming through and dipping south through most of the U.S.
