Happy Christmas!

I've just opened my presents. I got a Doctor Who calendar and a small diary from my Mum and step-dad, plus a card with £100 in it. That's it. My brother didn't come round yesterday to bring their presents so we couldn't give them theirs from us either. They're going to Ali's Mum's for Christmas dinner, and I don't know if they'll come round before hand and drop off the presents. If they do they'd better come before 10:00am because we've got a Christmas morning service at Church for an hour. If they don't come we'll just have to take their presents with us when we go to their house for lunch on boxing day. It's a good job I did some "Presents to self!" The ones that came through the post and I just didn't open where: A Doctor Who DVD of the Second Doctor story The Abominable Snowman, a DVD of the Doctor Who Am I documentary about the 1996 TV movie, a DVD of Jodi Whitaker's last Doctor Who story The Power of the Doctor, and a box of Andre Rieu stuff. It was called the "Love in Venice Fanpack" and it contained a copy of the Love in Venice concert on DVD, a copy of the Love in Venice concert on CD, a tea towel, a cushion and 2 mugs. The tea towel and one of the mugs I'm giving to my Mum for her birthday and the cushion, the other mug, the DVD and the CD I'm keeping for myself! It was a real bargain! I also got myself a diary from The Works and some Lego from The Entertainer toy shop. I wrapped them up and put a tally on each which said, "To Sharon, from Sharon!" So I unwrapped those too. The diary was a blue padded one and the Lego was a 3 in 1 woodland animals! Before I opened my presents, at about 6:00am, I went into the living room to play Santa and deliver my Mum and step-dad's Christmas presents. I put them on the sofa where my Mum usually sits, because I made her go to bed so that I could do that! It's a good job I did it when I did because my Mum came back down less than an hour later! Mum put the turkey crown out to thaw on Thursday, I put my salmon out to thaw yesterday. I'm very excited. It should be very tasty! Have you opened your presents yet? What Christmas presents have you got? What are you doing for Christmas day? Anyway I hope you all have a lovely Christmas!

Merry Christmas! My daughter and I don't give each other presents anymore. We'll just fix a nice lunch to eat together and that will be our day. I'll play on myLot and she'll play video games in her bedroom.

I went to New Jersey to visit my boyfriend for Christmas and New Years. I got from him a hoodie and a workout book. I got a new fitbit and some money from my mother. On Jan. 2nd, I opened my presents from my cousins and my great-aunt. My cousin gave me some tea and a tea box. My other cousin gave me some lotion. My great-aunt gave me some hand soap. I don't know what my best friend has for me yet.

Thank you for the update. We don't have any Christmas presents. Today we will be making cabbage rolls for dinner and maybe watch some football. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

@sharonelton Nothing wrong in buying something for yourself! We had Church at 10 and now I’m supervising the lamb as it roasts away contentedly in an anchovy, garlic and rosemary paste. Have a lovely day.
