Temples in Kerala

Kerala state in India is famous for temples and festivals. Thousands of temples are there and Hindu devotees visit them for mental peace. Temples are believed to help the devotees remove the negativities surrounding them. The inner shrines are indeed a treat to the eyes. There will be percussions and music programs also. In large temples elephants are also a part of every day rituals.

I have visited a few of them- Guruvayoor, Ambalappuzha, Kadambuzha, Vadakkunnadhan, and some others. My family has an ancestral temple of Lord Vishnu.

@Surinamstar27 Yes back when I was a young woman..it was a desire of all the young people of my age to go to India and Morocco and Marrakesh.

Of course, and most people coming there are filled with devotion and so the ambience is very positive.
