The News in 2023

There are several areas of the news that I am interested in seeing updates on in the new year. Of course, Trump is high on my list. Whether he will be convicted of any of the crimes he is charged with or not. Or will they just give him a tap on the wrist? If that is the case I will be very mad and disillusioned with the government. Also, Santos's lies and how they come out is an interesting point for me. Republic representative George Santos from New York has lied about his work history and education, most of his resume was just lies. How will Marjorie Taylor Greene act going forward now that Republicans have Congress tied up? Will Biden run again? Will they get busy and do their jobs or just keep the nasty rhetoric going? Such areas as the infrastructure, weather changes, and inflation. How well will they work with Biden in these areas? Any striking policy issues?
What do you think? Do you care about the outcome of these things? What areas are of interest to you?

I want a younger person to run for president. I think Biden has done well, considering what is on his plate but we need a younger person. And who in the Blank decided that the Greene monster should do anything in politics?? I also hope for my state that we keep a Democrat in the governor's seat. Please.

@sallypup ........I have wondered about a younger president but with Biden as Vice President to sort mentor the newbie.
I wonder about the Greene monster's history in politics too.
I wish we could get Democrats in Idaho. It is such a RED state.

I agree with that. I am very curious as to how Biden will be able to get much done with Republicans dominating Congress. I am really trying to stay optimistic.

I care about all of these. Other things on my mind are climate change and the challenges of COVID-19, RSV and seasonal flu. Unchecked inflation is also a concern.

But it is scary to me to have something happen in politics and I don't know about it. I want to be in the know.

@celticeagle Ours is terrible. Cheating is massive. Vote buying is very common but no politicians are accused of. The people are afraid to file a complaint.
